Between those roads is a quarter mile of the Rock Island Trail that has been neglected for decades.
The city Parks staff is considering a proposal to replace the old trail surface and tame the weedy landscape.
The proposal stands a good chance of succeeding—if enough of us say something. Please send your support today to—

The upgrade will:
Replace the old asphalt (10 feet wide) with new concrete (12 feet wide).
Remove decayed trees and ground debris.
Add a bench or two.
